Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe is upcoming but the release has not yet been confirmed. All your favorite fighters from Mortal Kombat will collide with Dc Universe villain’s and super hero’s. The game’s story will be written by comic writers Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray.

Need For Speed: Undercover “Detective”
Midnight Club: Los Angeles is the fifth video game in the Midnight Club racing series. It was officially announced for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on May 16, 2007 by Rockstar Games. The game is being developed by Rockstar San Diego, the same studio behind Rockstar’s first iteration into the seventh generation of video games, Rockstar Games Presents Table Tennis. The map of Los Angeles is confirmed to be the size of all three cities from the previous installment combined. It has also been mentioned in several sources that each car will have a polygon count of roughly 100,000.
Venom has returned to New York to infect the city with an army of symbiotes. S.H.I.E.L.D. has quarantined Manhattan to prevent the invasion from spreading. As a result, the entire city is cut off from the outside world. Spider-Man has to work with both heroes and villains from the Marvel Comics universe to track down Venom and stop the invasion before he himself is consumed by the symbiote attached to him.
EA Sports is coming back strong with NBA Live 09. It has some very cool new features and it should make up for the lack of the previous basketball games. It has a new DNA feature were every player will be up to date with roster changes and player stats.
No longer are you stuck playing a game based on what happened last year, instead you’ll have the ability to play with up-to-that-date information that will reflect on how the game plays in standard play now and online games, as well as what you can begin your dynasty with. Synergy tracks every game on a possession by possession basis. At this time that includes only the tracking of offense and not defense. Not only are stats kept but player tendencies based on what is done every time they get the ball. The whole idea is to keep the game “fresh” throughout the year.Each player (and subsequently team) will have their own “DNA”. That is based on the following categories: isolation, pick and roll-ball handler, pick and roll -roll man, post up, spot up, off-ball screen, and cuts. How much a player does that in real life will be reflected in how much then do it in the game. In addition to the “Hot Spots” that you can display while playing (this year being outlined sections instead of solid colored) will be tendency indicators. When pulled up you’ll see the ball handlers tendency from the spot on the floor they are in. The percentage they’ll drive right, drive left, or shoot.
I’m looking forward for this tittle but I’m sure 2k Sports has something up there sleeves.
For all you Lara Croft fans, she is back with Tomb Raider Underworld. This is the 8th game of the Tomb Raider series. Underworld should be release November 2008. There some pretty cool new features and Lara even got a new outfit. No more braided hair, instead she is rocking a pony tail and traded her khaki shorts for black ones. Heidi Moneymaker who is a Olympic gymnast and NCAA Women’s Gymnastics champion was the model used for motion capturing so expect some new moves from Lara.
Here is the story line trailer for Saints Row 2. The game will be in stores October 14. Saint Row 2 will be for both Playstation 3 and X Box 360 console.
